Red Dead Redemption 2 fistfight bounties are becoming a gripe for some players. Whatever players seem to do in Rockstar Games’ latest gaming hit, throwing a punch or two at an opponent seems to be a surefire way to get the law on your tail fast. Is there a way to prevent this from happening and having to outrun the Pinkertons? Here’s our guide on how you can do exactly that.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Fist Fight Bounties – What’s the Problem?
Much like in real life, the law doesn’t take too kindly to a “Well he started it!” deal when you’re punching your way out of a fight in Red Dead Redemption 2. One frustrated player, who goes by the username SkySweeper656, took to the Red Dead Redemption subreddit to ask how it was possible to win a fistfight without getting a bounty placed on your head.
It’s a worthwhile question, given that Arthur Morgan will get into his fair share of scrapes as you traverse Red Dead Redemption 2‘s huge map. So how do you go about ensuring that it isn’t you who has to run from the law, even if you engage and win the fight?
Red Dead Redemption 2 Fist Fight Bounties – How to Not Get a Bounty
According to another Reddit user, called joejccva71, the way to prevent yourself from getting a Red Dead Redemption 2 fistfight bounty is by not throwing the first punch. It seems obvious once it’s spelled out, but it does seem to do the trick.
If your opponent throws a punch your way, you can dodge your way out of it, hit them back, or do both, and you shouldn’t get a “wanted” level on your head. To prevent getting one entirely once you win the fight, make sure that you don’t loot their body either. If you do, it’ll be a different crime and you’ll have to run for your life.
