It would appear so. Spyro fans in Australasia have already begun playing the trilogy, and have reported on the likes of Reddit that cheat codes exist in the title. One Redditor posed the question to fellow fans last weekend, with some confirming that video footage on the internet had revealed the cheats, that were also available in the original PS1 games, had been included in the remaster by developer Toys for Bob.

Again, Reddit has provided some clues as to which cheats are available in the Spyro remake. One user, who goes by the name tycho500, asked if his fellow fans were aware of confirmed cheats in the game. One reply suggested that there were at least four in Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which we’ve listed below.
Apparently there are cheats to give yourself 99 lives, turn Spyro into a 2D sprite version of himself, big-head Spyro – which is exactly what it sounds like – and the ability to turn Spyro into a number of different colors. The variation in colors so far stands at six, with players having the option to make Spyro blue, red, pink, yellow, black, and green in addition to his usual purple skin tone.
