Red Dead Redemption 2 1.06 Update

Red Dead Redemption 2 Naval Compass – Where to Find

Now, where in the world is that Red Dead Redemption 2 Naval Compass? The Pearson camp request, which can set you well on the path to completing the Errand Boy trophy/achievement is one of the trickier tasks that you’ll find asked of you while you’re in the camp. Thankfully, we’ve zeroed in on the Red Dead Redemption 2 Naval Compass location so, if you’re having trouble: here’s how to find the Naval Compass in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Naval Compass – How to Unlock the Pearson Camp Request

This one is easier said than done. First up, you need to engage in a game of poker with your campmates and hope Pearson joins in. That’s not all: it has to be between the hours of 8:00-20:00, and the poker game in question has to take place during Chapter 2. If all those pre-requisites are met, Pearson will charge you with finding a beautiful (and rare) Naval Compass.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Naval Compass – Location

Red Dead Redemption 2 naval compass location

While you don’t need to go for a swim to find the Naval Compass location, it’s not far off. Head to the Braithwaite Manor, south of Rhodes. You can’t miss it, as it covers much of the southern area immediately below the township. Once there, go to the western side of the estate, and make your way through to the boathouse by an area resembling a mini-dock. It’s the white wooden building with a brown roof and, on the map, looks like a Tetris block facing left, protruding onto the sea.

Found it? Good. Head through the door and immediately head right. On the far right wall, you’ll see a blue workstation and a smaller, brown workstation to the left of it. Head to the brown workstation and, on the far left (by the clearing/opening in the boathouse) of the brown workstation, you’ll find the Naval Compass. If you need any extra help, be sure to activate Eagle Eye by clicking in both right sticks.

Once that’s done, head back to camp before you finish Chapter 2 and press Y/Triangle to gift the Naval Compass to Pearson and complete one of the more difficult camp requests in Red Dead Redemption 2.
