PS4 players who bought the Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition have already been granted access to Red Dead Online’s beta. As a way of saying thanks for buying the most expensive version, Rockstar has rewarded those gamers with the chance to play the beta early.
Or so some players thought. It turns out that the above error code is stopping some PS4 players from being able to connect to Red Dead Online’s servers. Unhappy at the bug preventing them from doing so, PS4 owners have taken to Reddit – here for example – to complain about the problem. They shouldn’t have a problem with fixing the issue though, right?

Well, not right now. Rockstar’s support team is already hard at work looking into an Xbox One online server problem. Whilst they have confirmed that they are investigating that issue, however, there’s been no official word on this PS4 error. As of writing, there is no error 0x99395004 fix.

Similar problems have occurred on PS4, yes. Bethesda’s Fallout 76 has been inundated with bugs since its launch on November 14. Despite not confirming that they’re investigating this error, the chances are that Rockstar are looking into it, but we might have to be patient.
