Red Dead Redemption 2 Watson Cabin

Red Dead Redemption 2 Watson Cabin | Get the Homestead Stash

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a pure outlaw simulator, and as such, there are a lot of places to rob and a lot of people to steal from. In fact, there’s a specific trophy/achievement for being a dirty stinkin’ thief called “Breaking and Entering,” which tasks players with robbing special stashes from four homesteads. One of these is the Red Dead Redemption 2 Watson Cabin, but it can be a little hard to find, and even harder to get your hands on the stash. Let us show you how to get it.

Where to Find Red Dead Redemption 2 Watson Cabin

Red Dead Redemption 2 watson cabin location

Watson’s Cabin can be found in the south part of Grizzlies West, almost on the divide between there and West Elizabeth. It’s a little way north-west of Wallace Station, the closest train station. If you up the road west from there and then follow it alongside the Little Creek River, there’s a little north road that ends at the cabin. You can see the exact location on the map above.

How to Get the Homestead Stash for “Breaking and Entering”

While finding the Watson Cabin is fairly easy, getting the homestead stash is not. It’s actually a small puzzle. First, enter the cabin, where you’ll find old lady Watson, who’ll mistake you for someone else. Listen to her talk, and she’ll give you permission to explore the rest of the house, as long as you don’t try to rob anything within her view. There’s a ladder at the back, so climb down it and you can take the shotgun there. She’ll tell you to leave, and warns that she’ll call her sons. Resist the urge to shoot her with the new shotgun, then leave.

Either make a camp or come back a day or two later. The lady’s sons will be arguing with her in the cabin. Try to enter, and they’ll attack you. Kill them, then enter the Watson Cabin again. The stash will be on the table. Take it, and you’ll be one step closer to that trophy/achievement.
