Extend Resident Evil 2 One Shot Demo

How to extend Resident Evil 2 One Shot demo

The Resident Evil 2 remake One Shot demo is live on January 11-13, 2019, but it only offers players a tantalizingly short-lived glimpse into the game. You’ll only get 30 minutes to complete the demo. Is there, however, any way to extend Resident Evil 2 One Shot demo or play it more than once? Read on to find out how to replay the demo, how to play it for longer, and more.

Can I extend the Resident Evil 2 One Shot demo?

While there is a demo of the Resident Evil 2 remake, it doesn’t last very long, clocking in at 30 minutes. Unfortunately, you cannot extend the experience, but you can at least make it feel like you have. If you complete the story mission of the demo before the clock runs out, for example, you can replay the demo as many times as you like in the remaining time. The demo itself will always last just 30 minutes, but you can cram a lot of gameplay into that time.

There is enough on offer in the half-hour to feel like a full experience. You’ll get to scan rooms for useful healing items, continue after death, get lost in the R.P.D, and have a crack at various puzzles. Upon completing the demo, you will be given a new cinematic trailer to watch. You can watch this as often as you like.

How to replay the Resident Evil 2 One Shot demo

While you cannot replay the demo after your 30 minutes are up using the same account, there are ways of replaying it. Once it is downloaded to your PS4 or Xbox One, for example, you will be able to play the demo through once on every account saved on the machine. If you own a powerful enough PC, PS4, and Xbox One, you can download the demo on each and play through it on every machine. You can maximize this by creating multiple accounts on the PS4 and Xbox One, too. You’ll need several email addresses, but it is simple enough to create accounts on both consoles.
