It’s my favorite time of the week: it’s Destiny 2 weekly reset time! The game’s refresh for January 15 is about to be set into motion, but what does the Destiny 2 weekly reset time today have in store for us? Well, we’ll go over exactly what’s changed below, from Strikes to storefronts, as well as the weekly reset start time for those who want to be the first to try out some of the new activities on offer.
What time is the Destiny 2 weekly reset today?
Not long to go now. The Destiny 2 weekly reset start time is set for 9 AM Pacific/12 PM Eastern/5 PM GMT (UK). That’s the case every single week, too, until Daylight Savings hits in March and everything moves forward an hour. For now, though, you can sit in the game at the time listed above and wait for that sweet “New Adventures Available” notification to drop, then you’re free to go about your (new) business.
What’s changed in the Destiny 2 weekly reset time today? (January 15)
There’s so much going on with activities being refreshed that it’ll almost take you until next Tuesday to get through everything. Bungie, though, has provided a neat list of everything that gets changed in the Destiny 2 weekly reset in its Ritual Reset guide. They are as follows:
- Call to Arms Crucible Challenge
- Destination Flashpoints
- Raid Challenge Encounters
- Raid Checkpoints
- Dreaming City Powerful Rewards
- Spider’s Powerful Bounty
- Gambit Powerful Bounty
- Gambit Weekly Challenge
- Nightfall Strike
- Weekly Clan Engrams
- Weekly Clan XP Caps
- Eververse Bright Dust
Weekly reset is also the time that Xur bids adieu for yet another week. The Best Boy packs up his set of armor and weapons before returning anew again on Friday. He’s currently at the Tower so you’d best be quick if you want to spend a few Legendary Shards before he goes. But it’s not all bad news: the Iron Banner kicks off its Season of the Forge run today, January 15.
Also, it’s worth noting what isn’t changed during the weekly reset. Weirdly, both DLC questgivers Brother Vance and Ana Bray refresh on Mondays and Thursdays respectively. Vance is the Anti-Garfield, clearly.
