Where is the Treatment Pool Room safe in Resident Evil 2?

Resident Evil 2 remake Treatment Pool Room safe

The Treatment Pool Room is located in the Sewers under the police station, after the Ada Wong section of the game. You’ve probably been in the Monitor Room next door and found the puzzle with the chess pieces, now you’re off searching for them. Don’t go too fast though, as the safe is on a table just across the way from the door where you enter the Treatment Pool Room. It’s actually the last safe in the game. Be careful though, there’s a zombie next to it.

What’s the Resident Evil 2 Treatment Pool Room safe code?

There are three safes in the game, and if you don’t know them already, the codes for the police station’s two safes are a little hard to find. The Treatment Pool Room safe, on the other hand, is very obvious, it’s just sneaky. If you explore nearby you’ll find some documents about the safe being installed, but it also notes that the code is written on the side of the safe itself. Sure enough it’s still there, as someone forgot to wipe it off. For your convenience though, here’s the Treatment Pool Room safe code:

  • 2 Left
  • 12 Right
  • 8 Left

As usual, don’t press Confirm until you’ve hit all those numbers, and remember that left and right are literally the directions you’re pushing with the control stick. Inside, you’ll find another custom part for one of your guns. If you’re playing Leon it’ll be a Shotgun Stock part for your shotgun that increases reloading speed.  Claire, on the other hand, gets a Reinforced Frame for the SLS 60 which allows it to fire high-power rounds.
