It’s Destiny 2weekly reset time. For May 28, though, things are very much business as usual with very little to hoot and holler about. That’s because we’re now entering the final week of the Season of the Drifter because the Season of Opulence starts next week. Still, there’s plenty of things that have changed in the weekly reset today for those Destiny 2 lifers to squeeze the last bit of playtime out of the game before it (potentially) shifts in a big way next Tuesday. For all the info on that, scroll on down below, and we’ll even clue you in on the Destiny 2 weekly reset time today for good measure as well. Let’s go get it, Guardians!
Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (May 28) | When is the reset time today?
Nothing has changed when it comes to the Destiny 2 weekly reset time today, May 28. It begins at 10 AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern. That’s 6 PM BST.
You don’t need to do anything special for the refresh to take hold. Once you see the “New Adventures Available” message in-game at the times posted above, you’ll be able to dive straight into the newest slate of weekly activities.
What’s changed in the Destiny 2 weekly reset? (May 28)
Destiny 2 vets might have a fair idea of what’s coming but, for those of you who don’t, you should be aware that Tuesday marks the day where everything refreshes and begins anew. That includes things like large Fireteam activities and PvP Bounties. So, in effect, you’re more likely to get better (Legendary) gear by waiting until the Tuesday in future.
However, as we’re only a week out from a brand-new season, Bungie isn’t too keen on rocking the boat. The list of what’s changed in Destiny 2 today is about as vanilla as it gets, and comes from the developer’s own Ritual Reset page:
Call to Arms Crucible Challenge
Destination Flashpoints
Raid Challenge Encounters
Raid Checkpoints
Dreaming City Powerful Rewards
Spider’s Powerful Bounty
Gambit Powerful Bounty
Gambit Weekly Challenge
Nightfall Strike
Weekly Clan Engrams
Weekly Clan XP Caps
Eververse Bright Dust Selections
The only other thing worth noting is that Xur is bidding Destiny 2 farewell, at least temporarily. Don’t worry, he’ll be back on Friday, but he always takes most of Tuesday off, along with Wednesday and Thursday. Maybe that’s when he gets to see Xur Jr.
