Harry Potter Wizards Unite Go Plus | Is there a version for HPWU?
As of writing, there is no such thing as a Harry Potter Wizards Unite Go Plus device. While the game is similar in many ways to Pokemon Go, the Pokemon Go Plus device is definitely something that game has over Harry Potter’s foray in augmented reality. The Go Plus device makes life easier for frequent Pokemon Go players, but there isn’t anything like it that you can use with and for Harry Potter Wizards Unite.
This isn’t to say, however, that there will never be a Harry Potter Wizards Unite Go Plus like device. Such a move would make sense for Niantic. While it wouldn’t work exactly like the Pokemon Go Plus, a version of that device for Wizards Unite would be useful. You would be able to use it instead of your phone if conserving battery life is an issue for you, at least. Such a device wouldn’t have the full functionality of the Wizards Unite game, but it would compliment it. Theoretically, you’d be able to collect items and take part in some core gameplay with a Wizards Unite Plus device, therefore saving your phone’s battery life while still taking part in the game to some extent.
As stated above, there is no Harry Potter Wizards Unite Go Plus device or equivalent, but there could be in the future. Cross those fingers and wands that Niantic and Warner Bros make it happen.
