Since the first season was a big hit, this means that we can definitely expect Season 2 to come in the coming months, based on Tamura’s comments. Unfortunately, we don’t know an exact release date for Season 2 of The Rising of the Shield Hero yet, but an announcement could potentially be coming soon at the Crunchyroll 2019 Expo.
The event is set to begin on August 30 and promises tons of great announcements for anime fans. In fact, there are five guests involved with The Rising of the Shield Hero will be attending the expo, including the Myne voice actress Sarah Emi Bridcutt.
While we don’t know what will be announced at the Crunchyroll 2019 Expo, it is safe to assume that fans will learn some kind of information about Season 2 of The Rising of the Shield Hero.
