Nintendo and Team Ninja have revealed a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass ahead of the game’s release. The extra content will get you three DLC packs and a special Deadpool skin for preordering it. If you are unsure whether this will be worth your money, however, we can lend you a hand in deciding. Have a read of our Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass guide, and then weigh up whether it’s worth purchasing or not.
Should I buy the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass?
Before we dive into whether it’s worth stumping up your cash, let’s have a look at what you will get. The Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass will get you all three post-launch packs when they are released. It’ll also nab you the Deadpool alternative color-chef outfit, which we’re sure you’ll all be wearing in-game as soon as possible.

Now, onto the price. The Expansion Pass will cost you $19.99, or £14.99 if you pre-purchase it from the official Nintendo store. At that price, you might be swayed into leaving the Expansion Pass. You might want to hold off on completely turning your nose up at this offer, however, especially if you take the below into account.
You can’t buy any of these packs individually. As we reported last Friday, the only way to get all of this extra content is through the Expansion Pass. It might not please you, but that’s what Nintendo has decided.
You also won’t get to dress Deadpool up in his humorous Expansion Pass skin. It’ll be fun running around as the Merc with a Mouth in an apron, especially in a game that will be serious in nature.
