It’s time for the Fortnite 2.34 Update Patch Notes! As always, a bunch of new content is coming in this patch for Save The World, Battle Royale, and the Creative portions of Epic Games’ third-person shooter. This particular patch gives players a new trap called the Zapper Trap, two new prefabs, a funky pistol, and the return of a beloved DJ!
Fortnite 2.34 Update Patch Notes (10.20.2) | Highlights
Battle Royale
Battle Royale players are getting a new trap in the Fortnite 2.34 Update Patch Notes. The Zapper Trap can be yeeted a pretty fair distance and it’s got an interesting quirk — it deploys on both sides of a wall! This means you could throw it where someone is tucked behind cover and enjoy the fireworks as they get fried for 50 damage on the other side.
ALSO: Sims 4 customizable stairs are causing quite a ruckus
We’re also seeing the return of a couple of iconic locations. The Floating Island is back and the Motel is sitting on top of it, giving us a 2-for-1 deal on returning locations!
Creative
Creative players are getting two new prefabs and three new galleries. The Prison and Flush Factory are now available to be used as prefabs. As for Galleries, the Prison and Flush Factory are also available there. Additionally, a “General Props Gallery C” has been added to Fortnite’s Creative mode.
Save The World
While the Battle Royale portion is the bread and butter of Epic Games, they haven’t forgotten about Save The World players! A familiar face returns and a new gun enters the mix in the Fortnite 2.34 Update Patch Notes. Crackshot is taking residence in the Radio Station to broadcast “Song of the Summer” once again for a Weekly Quest. The musical theme is further emphasized with the Hot Mix Pistol, a gun that somehow uses a cassette player to blast Husks into funky chunks.
Of course, these are just some of the highlights in the Fortnite 2.34 Update Patch Notes — read on for the full list!
