One attachment that can be unlocked is called Snake Shot, and essentially turns a pistol in a shotgun. How to Unlock Snake Shot in Modern Warfare
If you’re trying to figure out how to unlock Snake Shot for your .357 Magnum, you’re not alone. There are a handful of players trying to figure out what level they need to reach to unlock the attachment. Thankfully, unlocking it is pretty simple, but make take a little bit of time.

To unlock the Snake Shot attachment in Modern Warfare, you’ll need to upgrade your .357 Magnum to level 29. Once you get there, you’ll be able to attach Snake Shot to your pistol — essentially turning it into a shotgun.

As you might have guessed, the main perk of Snake Shot is that it increases the radius of your shot, allowing still land hits even if your aim isn’t 100% accurate. However, the down side of the Snake Shot attachment is that it limits your weapon range, as a shotgun blast can only go so far.
To see what weapon attachments you have unlocked, head to Gunsmith menu where you’ll be able to swap out your loadout to your liking. You’ll be able to attach five items to a weapon, but each attachment must be from a different category. For example, you won’t be able to attach two perks to the same weapon.
