The Doom Eternal computer password is quite the conundrum. Unlocking the first Doom was just if you could collect all the floppy disks (which you can read more about here) and that is pretty simple, given how they are on the map if you buy the associated upgrade. The Doom Eternal computer password is obscure, but some fans might have guessed it with a few tries. The password for the computer is “FLYNNTAGGART” and you’ll know when you get it right. Once you input the right password in the computer, the game will automatically show you your unlocked Doom 2 game right next to the first Doom. And like that original Doom, you can play the entire Doom 2 story. But obviously you can’t play multiplayer or any level packs. But it’s still the whole game, which is quite a bonus. There’s no word on if completing Doom 2 unlocks anything in Doom Eternal.

Figuring out to unlock Doom 2 in Doom Eternal takes some incredibly deep knowledge of the lore as he isn’t really the star of the games. Most Doom fans probably don’t even know who Taggart is. Regardless, he was the protagonist of Doom but only in the novels. He is based upon the Doom Slayer from the first two games and there is a whole backstory associated with him that is separate from the Doom Slayer we know today in the modern games. He has a different personality than the game protagonist as would any novelization of the Doom series.
