Given that there are other ’90s shooter Easter eggs in the game, it’s only natural that there is also a Project Warlock Serious Sam one, too. And like those others, it also has a trophy — the Too Serious trophy or achievement in this case — attached to it that tells you to “find the guy who took everything too seriously.” But how do you get the Too Serious trophy and where do you find Serious Sam in Project Warlock?
Project Warlock Serious Sam Easter egg | How to get the Too Serious trophy
The Too Serious trophy is in E3M1. This is the first mission (Atsui) in the third world (Sand Dunes), which is the Egypt setting.

This one is also right in the beginning of the level so it is very easy to get if you missed it the first time around.
Go into the big building right in front of the spawn portal and look to your right once you’re inside.
You should see an Egyptian mural on one of the tiles. It has a beak and a staff like you see in the picture. Interact with it and it will open up.
You’ll find Serious Sam inside (who has met a grisly fate) and get your trophy. It’s not too difficult. It also counts as one of the secrets, too. Check the map in the upper left if you are lost.
Serious Sam was a first-person shooter series that started in 2001. There have been multiple entries over the years and the newest one is set to come out in August 2020 on Stadia and PC with console versions to come out the following year.
Of course, there are other references that are tied to trophies, too, like Duke Nukem, Blood, Shadow Warrior, and Doom. You can click each of the links for those guides to find those hidden heroes and get their associated trophies or achievements.
