The Last of Us 2 Looks Good on You trophy contains one of the best jokes in the game. But obviously, it is tied to a trophy as well. So how do you get it and how do you put a hat on your companion in The Last of Us 2? Here’s how to get that coveted trophy. There are spoilers in this guide so watch out!
The Last of Us 2 Looks Good on You Trophy | How to put a hat on your companion
You can get the Looks Good on You Trophy in the Seattle Day 1 chapter for Ellie in The Birthday Gift sub-chapter. Once you make your way into the museum, you will see a hat on a little rack like you see in the above picture. It’s right in the lobby when you walk in.
There’s also another hat right under the spiral staircase that you see by continuing the mission in the next room after the big skeletons. Either hat should work.
Pick whatever hat you want and then go into the room with the skeletons. There’s a Stegosaurus there. Go put your hat on it as you can see in the above picture. Then, when the prompt comes back up, take it off the dinosaur and put it back on.
Now walk over to the Triceratops and you should be able to also put the hat on it. Take off the hat when it gives you the prompt, which might take a second.
You can also go over to the Dimetrodon and place your hat on it. It just needs to be placed on two of the dinosaurs
After doing that twice, you’ll now see the same prompt over Joel’s head. You know what you have to do. You have been trained for this. Don’t walk away (or the prompt will disappear) and go to Joel and press Triangle to put the dang hat on his head. And that is how you put a hat on your companion in The Last of Us 2.
