To get the Sightseer trophy in The Last of Us 2, you’ll need to visit every location in downtown Seattle. You’re not given much instruction on how many places you’ll need to go or what section of the game you need to do it in. Does the Sightseer trophy mean you need to hit every optional location in the city, or is there a specific area it’s talking about?
We’ll tell you where you need to go in The Last of Us 2 to get the Sightseer trophy. Follow the guide below to find all 11 locations you need to visit in downtown Seattle.
What downtown Seattle locations do I need to visit to get the Sightseer trophy in The Last of Us 2?
To get this trophy, you must visit all the optional areas located in downtown Seattle during Ellie’s Day One – Seattle section. There are 11 locations you must visit to obtain the Sightseer trophy in The Last of Us 2:
- Barko’s Pet Store
- Crumbled Building
- “Fascists” Truck
- Fedra Outpost
- Gate East-2 (“Fuck Fedra” Gate)
- Gate West-2
- Ration Distribution Center (Synagogue)
- Ruston Coffee
- United States Courthouse
- Valiant Music Shop
- Westlake Bank
Of these areas, you must visit three as part of the story:
- Courthouse
- Gate East-2
- Ration Distribution Center
You’ll have to seek out the rest of the locations in downtown Seattle on your own. There are various clues scattered about that will lead you to these optional areas, and some will give Ellie enough information to mark it on the map. Fortunately, all of these places are entirely open to visit at any time except for one (Barko’s Pet Store), so you don’t have to search for clues to mark them on the map before visiting them.
We’ll go into detail on each location below. Some of these areas can be tricky to get into, but we’ll show you how to enter each one.
The Last of Us 2 Downtown Seattle Locations List
Here is a list of each location in downtown Seattle you need to visit to get the Sightseer trophy:
Barko’s Pet Store
Location: Alley between Madison and Marion St. on 6th Ave.
To get into Barko’s, you need first to find the key (guide). This is the only location out of the 11 that is locked. The front door is inaccessible, so you’ll need to enter through the side door in the alley between Barko’s and Valiant Music Store.
Crumbled Building
Location: 6th Ave. and Marion St.
This building is just to the south of Barko’s Pet Store. It’s easy to miss because it blends in with the ruins. However, there is a stairway clinging to the wreckage you can climb to find some goodies.
“Fascists” Truck
Location: Beneath the crumbled overpass between 6th and 7th Ave. and Madison and Spring St.
This is one of the harder locations to spot, even when it’s marked on your map. You need to look for a truck on ground level with FEDRA labeling and “Fascists” spraypainted on the side. You can open the rear doors to find a grisly sight.
FEDRA Outpost
Location: 5th Ave. and Marion St.
This small FEDRA outpost houses a workbench and is a handy stopover to upgrade your weapons while you explore downtown. You can enter this location either by the wall you can climb onto from the second floor of Valiant Music Store, or a gate on Marion St.
Gate East-2 (“Fuck Fedra” Gate)
Location: 8th Ave. and Columbia St.
Opening this gate is your ultimate goal in the downtown area, and is required to continue the story. However, you’ll need to find gas in the ruins to power the generated required to operate the gate.
Gate West-2
Location: 5th Ave. and Madison St.
This gate blocks off the western part of Madison St. Ellie can squeeze in through a small opening in the gate.
Ration Distribution Center (Synagogue)
Location: 5th Ave. and Marion St.
This former synagogue is likely going to be your first stop after finding Gate East-2. You’ll need to search it for gas to start the generator required to open the gate.
Ruston Coffee
Location: 5th Ave. and Spring St.
You’ll find the former coffee shop turned WLF hideout on 5th Ave. and Spring St.
United States Courthouse
Location: 6th Ave. and Spring St.
You’ll have to visit the courthouse as part of the story. You really can’t miss it as it takes up the whole block on 6th Ave. and Spring St.
Valiant Music Shop
Location: 5th and Marion
This location is easy to gain access to as the front door is still passable. Just head to the corner of 5th Ave. and Madison St. and Abby will point it out.
Westlake Bank
Location: Between 5th and 6th Ave. on Cherry St.
This is one of the larger builders in downtown Seattle. You’ll enter through the wreckage directly below the Westlake Bank sign on the front of the building.
