What is the Apex Legends Bangalore Heirloom?
According to a data-mine from the ever-reliable Shrugtal on Twitter, Bangalore’s Heirloom is a Tonfa. Whether or not this means Bangalore will carry a single Tonfa or a pair of Tonfa, however, is unknown. It’s unknown, too, when Bangalore’s Heirloom will be available in Apex Legends. All we know, thanks to the tweet linked to above, is that Bangalore will receive a Tonfa Heirloom at some point.

Shrugtal’s tweet shows us a line of code: “MELEE_SKIN_BANGALORE_HEIRLOOM_NAME” and then “Bangalore Tonfa.” All we can say, therefore, is that a tonfa Heirloom is on the way to Apex Legends for Bangalore. Hopefully, it will be added soon. We can hope, too, that unlocking the Apex Legends Bangalore Heirloom will be a simple process.
How to unlock the Apex Legends Bangalore Heirloom Tonfa
If previous Heirlooms are anything to go on, you should be able to unlock Bangalore’s Tonfa Heirloom in a couple of different ways:
- Purchase or complete an item set of an upcoming event
- Earn Heirloom Shards through Apex Packs
Unlocking Heirloom Shards through Apex Packs will be unlikely and a slow process, unfortunately. As of writing, you have a one in 500 chance of getting some Heirloom Shards when opening an Apex Pack, as we detailed here. When the Tonfa Heirloom for Bangalore is added to the game, you should be able to unlock it with Heirloom Shards.
