Developer Treyarch has shared the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update patch notes. The new CoD update for today, November 25, is being deployed across PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. New changes include the addition of a Hardcore Nuketown playlist, as well as bug fixes that should make the game more stable.

Fans of hardcore modes will no longer be missing out on the Nuketown fun, as developer Treyarch is adding a separate Hardcore Nuketown 24/7 playlist. This mode will be great for leveling up weaker weapons, especially pistols.

Other changes include stability fixes to help prevent crashes. All players should now enjoy a more consistently stable gaming experience.

The amount of Weapon XP earned while playing the Zombies mode has also been tweaked.

MULTIPLAYER

Playlists

  • Added Hardcore Nuketown 24/7 to Hardcore tab in Quick Play.

Stability

  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur when playing Hardpoint.
  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur while pinging locations.
  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur loading into a Multiplayer match.

ZOMBIES

Progression

  • Addressed an issue that allowed players to earn more weapon XP than intended in Zombies during 2WXP events.
  • This fix includes new general weapon XP tuning, which will result in faster overall weapon leveling in Zombies.

Unfortunately, the new Call of Duty update does not seem to fix the split-screen lag for console players. This issue is still impacting those on PlayStation and Xbox.
