Hitman 3 just launched as the triumphant conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. Not only that, but it also serves as a hub that collects all of the missions from each of the three games in one place. In order to transfer all of the legacy content, however, users need the appropriate Hitman Access Passes. That could get expensive, so here’s how to get free DLC using the Hitman 3 Access Pass system.
Is there free Hitman 3 DLC?
Hitman 3 offering its players access to the entire World of Assassination trilogy in one place is a great convenience. The only potential problem is, getting access to everything could be expensive — especially for newcomers. Luckily, there are ways for newbies and veterans alike to claim some free Hitman 3 downloadable content.
How to get free DLC in Hitman 3
Anybody that purchases Hitman 3 on PC via the Epic Games Store before Saturday, January 30, 2021, will receive a free Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass. This grants access to all base and add-on levels from Hitman (2016) within Hitman 3 on EGS.
Additional Access Passes may be free to download, depending on what content users already own and on which platforms. For example, those that own the Hitman 2 base game on PS4 are eligible to download the Standard Access Pass for free; this transfers all of the original Hitman 2 content to Hitman 3 on PS4 or PS5. As another example, players that own all available Hitman 2 content on Xbox One can download the Gold Access Pack for free in order to access the base content plus all add-ons in Hitman 3 for Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.
