The latest season of Fortnite is here! Players are already digging their teeth into Chapter 2 Season 7, leaving some to wonder how far they can rank up. Read on to find out the max level cap for the new Fortnite season.
What is the level cap with Battle Stars on Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7?
As revealed by reputable Fortnite data miner iFireMonkey, the cap is set at level 200. Once you pass that, you’ll no longer be rewarded Battle Stars, and no further unlocks will be available. This is different to the general level cap on Fortnite, which is 100. The traditional battle pass is set at 100, too. This information came from a tweet released today by iFireMonkey. The tweet in question shows several lines of code uncovered from the new update’s files. It shows the level of Battle Stars earned at each rank. When you reach level 200, you get 5 Battle Stars and 75,000 XP. However, anything past that point is just an XP reward, with no additional Battle Stars, making that the level cap.
To further backup level 200 being the maximum for this season as of right now, Battle Stars aren't given to you after level 200.

The Battle Stars system was brought in for the newly released Chapter 2 Season 7. Previously, you earnt a Battle Star for completing in-game missions, but now their role is more of a currency. Each time you level up on the battle pass, you unlock give Battle Stars, which can be used to purchase cosmetics in the item shop. The most expensive cosmetics cost around 20 Battle Stars, which is the price you’ll pay for the Rick and Morty ‘Toxic Rick’ style.
In other news, Fortnite have released a Superman skin, posting a tweet of Clark Kent’s iconic glasses, and unveiling normal Superman, and black suit Superman.
Battlefield 2042 was officially announced today, with a trailer containing historic easter eggs for long-time fans of the franchise. It’s also thought an open beta for the game will be out soon.
