Yes, Timothy Olyphant was a voice actor in Rick and Morty season 5 episode 6. The actor portrayed Coop, the soon-to-be-father and soldier who is enlisted by the president to be transformed into a turkey to foil Rick’s plan to steal the Constitution. Inevitably, things don’t go as planned, with a turkey becoming the President of the United States and overthrowing the government.

Olyphant’s character is then tasked with rallying the troops to stand at the real president’s side, which again, doesn’t really go as planned for many of them, with most meeting an untimely death. Olyphant seemingly emerges out of the action unscathed, with him appearing in the post-credits scene with his wife, Mary-Lou. The pair are shown in a store holding their newborn baby, however, after Coop accidentally kicks over some berries, his turkey responses kick in and he begins foraging, much to his wife’s dismay.

It’s a typically grim conclusion for the new character, that also plays on the treatment soldiers receive after a war. With Coop explaining to his wife how they’re still poor because their insurance got cut as the U.S. has “gotta build missiles,” the character’s fortunes haven’t turned around by the episode’s end.

In other news, fake Spider-Man: No Way Home posters have been emerging in theaters as a result of Sony’s lack of marketing for the upcoming film. It was also recently revealed that the Injustice movie will be ditching the game’s voice cast in order to introduce a new roster of actors.
