Who are the stars of the Pokemon Netflix cast? It’s been reported that a Pokemon live-action series is in the works at Netflix, with Joe Henderson, the producer and showrunner of Lucifer, attached to the project. The plot is still unknown, but has any members of the Pokemon live-action cast been assembled? Will the Pokemon Netflix show be connected to the successful Detective Pikachu movie? Who is starring in the Pokemon Netflix cast?
At the moment there are no stars attached to the live-action Pokemon Netflix series, but it is possible to speculate. Detective Pikachu was the highest-grossing videogame movie of all time, was very well received by fans, and it’s currently the only major live-action Pokemon project to date, so it would be a great place for the series to start off. Justice Smith’s Tim could easily return, as could Kathryn Newton’s Lucy. Ryan Reynolds is a far bigger star so he may not return as Pikachu, but if it’s a voice-only role he may be convinced to come back — unless the series is going back to the classic Pikachu who can only say his name.
Beyond those names, Tom Henderson was showrunner and producer on Lucifer for years, so now that show has ended it’s very possible that Henderson will bring over some of that series’ cast to be in this show — such as Tom Ellis, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Lauren German, and DB Woodside.
However, until the Pokemon Netflix series gets an official reveal or a release date fans won’t know for sure who’s starring in it.
