Back 4 Blood is proving popular amongst most beta players, but, unfortunately, Nintendo Switch fans can’t get involved. What about the final version, though? Is there a Back 4 Blood Nintendo Switch release date? Here’s the latest on a B4B Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED model port launching in the future.
What is the Back 4 Blood Nintendo Switch release date?
There is no Back 4 Blood Nintendo Switch release date. B4B will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC following its October 12, 2021 launch day.
Unfortunately, there are no current plans to launch a Back 4 Blood Nintendo Switch version. Although there isn’t a B4B Switch release date for players to mark on their calendars right now, there could be a port in the future. It’s quite common for successful games to release on Nintendo Switch after alternative platforms.
There’s nothing official on that front, though it can’t be ruled out at the moment. While the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED would perhaps all struggle to run Back 4 Blood natively, that wouldn’t necessarily be a problem. Demanding titles like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Control, and the upcoming Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy all run on Switch via a cloud streaming solution. As such, it’s possible that Turtle Rock and Warner Bros. could announce a Back 4 Blood: Cloud Version release date at some point in time.
Until then, why not learn some more about Back 4 Blood? Get all the details on the zombie shooter’s first annual pass. Additionally, find out if there’s a single-player mode and/or local couch co-op in B4B. One thing that’s for sure is the lack of Campaign Versus, which was perhaps the most popular mode in spiritual predecessor Left 4 Dead (L4D). Understandably, this omission isn’t going down well with some.
