Instead of being sent to Earth with Thanos’ army, Loki is sent by Odin to enact revenge on the person who killed Thor. He is joined by Lady Sif and an Asgardian army.
This version of Loki also uses ice powers to freeze his enemies, a nod to his frost giant heritage. He still wears the horned armor seen in the original Avengers movie.
