Is the Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker Early Access time known? The massive and eagerly-awaited Endwalker expansion is finally coming out next week on December 7 after being delayed multiple times, so fans of the long-running Final Fantasy MMO will be checking the best ways to play it, especially the one that gets them access faster. There will be an early access period, but what exactly is the FFXIV Endwalker Early Access release time?
What is the FFXIV Endwalker Early Access time?
The Early Access release time for the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker expansion is Friday, December 3 at 1 AM PT/4 AM ET/9 AM GMT/6 PM JST following an undetermined maintenance period, during which the game will be offline.
The early access period officially runs for a week until Friday, December 10 at 23:59 in the user’s current time zone, although Endwalker itself becomes available on December 7 so all users should have moved over by that point.
To join the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker early access period players have to have pre-ordered the expansion on the platform they normally play the MMO on, and on PC/Mac they should have received a 20-digit pre-order bonus code to activate the Early Access version. Players should log in on the Mog Station website with their Square Enix account, click the ‘Your Account’ tab, select the FFXIV service account the player uses, then click the button marked “Enter Pre-order Bonus Code (Early Access Code).” After entering the code, there should now be a circle mark in the Endwalker Early Access area in the Account Status section. PS4/PS5 players, on the other hand, simply have to pre-order the expansion. Endwalker will download automatically on all platforms when the release time starts.
For those who are more interested in the single-player Final Fantasy XVI, which FFXIV developers are involved with, they should be aware that the game probably won’t release until after April 2022 at the earliest.
