If that’s true, we shouldn’t have to wait as long between releases this time around. We could see The Boys season four release around summer 2023.
Prior to season three, the television adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic had stuck to a yearly release schedule. The first season landed in July of 2019, while season two aired in September of 2020. Unfortunately, like everything else in the world, production on season three slowed due to the ongoing pandemic.
Luckily, fans won’t have to go that much time without new content again. That’s because The Boys is getting two spin-offs: One set in a college for superheroes, and another, titled Diabolical, which is an animated series set to release later this year.
