Pokemon Legends Arceus Oshawott location

Where to find Oshawott in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Oshawott can be found in the wild in Pokemon Legends Arceus. This means that trainers can eventually get all three starters in this game. However, the location to catch Oshawott doesn’t open up until later in the game. Here’s how to find Oshawott and catch it in Legends Arceus.

What location can you find Oshawott in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

Pokemon Legends Arceus Starter Pokemon

The obvious way for players to get Oshawott in Pokemon Legends Arceus is to choose it as their starter. If this is the case, players can spend the entire game training Oshawott and its evolutions. However, if trainers go with another creature to be their first pal, they’ll still get the chance to get Oshawott later on.

To find Oshawott in the wild in Pokemon Legends Arceus, players must reach three-star rank to unlock Space-Time Distortions. After that, they can find Oshawott (and some helpful items) by visiting distortions in the Alabaster Icelands. These distortions appear seemingly at random, so it may take some waiting before one opens in the right location. However, players can enter it and catch Oshawatt as they would any other wild Pokemon once it does.

Another option to get this Pokemon is to wait until the story concludes. After it ends, Professor Laventon will give players a second starter Pokemon, and they can choose to take Oshawott.

Like the other two starters, Oshawott’s second evolution, Samurott, features a new Hisuian Form. Samurott becomes a Water/Dark-type in this form, which is strong against more types than its regular form. Unfortunately, the tradeoff is that it’s also weaker to more types as well.

Oshawott is a starter in Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, so a lot of trainers are nostalgic about it and want to add it to their team. Fortunately, once trainers hit a certain part of the game, they can catch as many of these scrappy Pokemon as they want.
