Sifu Game Pass Release Date: Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC

Has any sort of Sifu Game Pass release date been confirmed, or a release on Xbox platforms? The cool new martial arts fighting game from Sloclap is out this week after coming to everyone’s attention a year ago at a Sony State of Play livestream, but at the moment it seems like it’s only planned for a release on PS5, PS4, and PC. Is there a Sifu Xbox Game Pass release planned for Xbox Series X and Xbox One, or is it a PlayStation exclusive on console?

What is the Sifu Xbox Game Pass release date?

Sifu Game Pass Release Date: Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC

The earliest Sifu is likely to release on Xbox Game Pass is a year from now in February 2023, although that may just be a general Xbox release and not specifically on Game Pass.

At the moment no Sifu Xbox release date has been announced but the developer has previously confirmed that Sifu was only a timed exclusive for PS5 and PS4, so players should expect to see the game on Xbox platforms in 2023.

Sifu developer Sloclap has a history with putting its games on PlayStation consoles first before bringing them to Xbox later. Its previous fighting game Absolver came out on PS4 and PC in August 2017 but appeared on Xbox One in January 2019, around 16 months later — at which point it also came to Game Pass. Sloclap has already confirmed to fans on social media that the exclusivity with Sifu and PS5/PS4 is time-limited, so Sifu will definitely come to Xbox Series X and Xbox One around a year from now. Hopefully, it will come to Xbox Game Pass too as its predecessor Absolver did, although most of this is not yet confirmed so Xbox fans will have to wait and see.
