The One Piece episode 1021 release date and time have been revealed for the Japanese dubbing with English subtitles on Crunchyroll. The fight between Kaido and The Straw Hat Pirates is reaching a turning point, so it’s great that this series will be simulcast so that fans around the world can catch up on next episode at the same time.
At this point, the anime has taken a short break from the stirring battle between Luffy and Kaido, focusing its attention instead on Tama. To bring down Kaido, she uses her ability to create Kibi Dango from her cheeks that, when eaten, tames an animal and forces it to follow her commands. Luckily, the Grifters who are part of Kaido’s army are actually part-animal, allowing her Dango to work on them. This will hopefully turn the tide for the ongoing battle for the island of Wano.

Since the merger between Funimation and Crunchyroll, as they are both now owned by Sony, the policy for Crunchyroll has been to restrict free users from watching many newly released seasons. Luckily, the situation with the English dubbing for One Piece has changed a bit. There are still no English dubs for the series on Crunchyroll, but Funimation has been slowly updating the English dubs in batches. The last known English language version of One Piece on Funimation was episode 794 but now it’s episode 806. It’s unclear if or when these episodes will migrate over to Crunchyroll now that these two streaming services are under the same roof, but we’ll keep on top of the situation for any announcements.
