Quordle Answer 144

Quordle Answer 143: June 16, 2022 Word Solution

The Quordle 143 answer for June 16, 2022 has been uncovered. The puzzle this time around is a little more difficult than yesterday’s, though that’s not saying much because of how easy that one was, but this Quordle has a word that has a surprising number of multiple solutions. One word in the solution has a double consonant, while two words have a particular rare consonant. The most difficult word can be found in the lower-left corner. For a hint, it can describe Michael Ehrmantraut’s job in Breaking Bad. If you need the complete answer, you can find it in the following paragraph.

Quordle Answer 143

The Quordle answer 143 is:

  • “LOSER”
  • “ALLOT”
  • “FIXER”
  • “SPARK”

This puzzle has a broad mix of difficulties. The most difficult word is certainly “FIXER” for the very rare “X” consonant and the “FI?ER” construction that has a surprising amount of solutions. This includes the following consonants: “B,” “F,” “L,” “N,” “R,” “V,” and “X.” So it won’t be too much of a surprise if this word will take away a few guesses, though there is an advanced technique (described later) you can use to narrow this down more quickly. By comparison, the other three words shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out, apart from maybe “SPARK” due to the “K” consonant. Most of the other words can be mostly solved by using the usual strategy for Quordles.

That strategy, as many of you may know by now if you’ve been reading these guides, consists of getting all the vowels and most frequent consonants quickly. That should give you plenty of green and yellow hints, and eliminate plenty of letters off the board.

The more advanced technique is specifically used for constructions like “FI?ER” above. Instead of trying each possible solution by guessing one letter at a time, it may be safer to try more of those possibilities by combining them into another word. In this case, the “L,” “N,” and “R” can be probably be removed early as they are common consonants. This leaves us with “V,” “X,” “F,” and “B.” So you could guess “BOXER” or “VIXEN” to try two of those letters instead of trying to get lucky with a 1 in 4 shot. This strategy uses up two guesses, though, so it’s up to you if it’s worth trying or not.
