Some of you may be wondering why we chose “CLICK” as being more difficult than “TOXIN” given that it has the very rare “X” consonant. There are a few reasons, actually. First is “TONIC” which is not a difficult word to get but provides three green letters and one yellow letter in “TOXIN.” This means that you’ll likely be left with the “TO?IN” construction, which actually doesn’t have a lot of solutions; in fact, only the “X” works in this case.
By comparison, while you will receive some help for “CLICK” because of the “C” in “TONIC,” the letter is repeated in the word and the “K” consonant is uncommon as well. The word can also reduce to the “?LICK” construction which can be solved with a “C” or an “F,” so this might make you waste a guess. As for “SUITE,” the general strategy for Quordle puzzles should clear this word quickly. If you can cover the majority of the most common consonants and all of the vowels in the first three guesses, you’ll get all of the letters in “SUITE” either in the yellow or green.
