The Quordle 165 answer for July 8, 2022 has been uncovered. Half of today’s puzzle is quite simple whereas the other half is not. There are about six uncommon to rare letters throughout the entire solution, and several unusual placements for some of them. Fortunately, one of these uncommon letters is repeated twice in two separate words, which lessens this Quordle’s overall difficulty. By our estimation, the hardest word to solve is the last word in the lower-right position. So if you’re looking for a hint, it’s a name of a certain musical instrument. For the full answer, you can look at the next section of this guide.
What is Quordle answer 165? (July 8, 2022)
The Quordle answer 165 is:
- “SLING”
- “MAYBE”
- “CHILD”
- “BANJO”
Similar to yesterday’s Quordle, the “J” makes yet another appearance in another word in the same fourth position for “BANJO.” In combination with the uncommon “B” consonant, this word might take an extra guess to figure out. Luckily, if you can discover the position of the “A,” “N,” and “O,” that should narrow down the possible letters that could be in the first and fourth positions.
Better yet, nailing the “B” will get you an important clue for “MAYBE” as it also has the “M” to cause trouble. That said, if you’re able to pinpoint that the “Y” vowel is right in the middle, along with the “A” and “E” vowels, you might be able to work out the “B” without needing to complete “BANJO” at all.
On the flip side, “SLING” and “CHILD” shouldn’t present too many obstacles if you clear most of the common consonants and vowels near the beginning of the puzzle. The only difficulty might be the “G” and “H” consonants if you don’t happen to have them included in your first several words in the puzzle.
