Humans can form a contract with a Devil and use their power.
There are all different sorts of devils. For example, the titular Chainsaw Man has a pact with the Chainsaw Devil. These Devils all have their own motivations and desires, which often cause them to conflict with each other. In the background, this world is one where the Soviet Union didn’t collapse, which adds political tension as well.
Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to see Chainsaw Man sometime this year.
