Two Point Campus Multiplayer Co-Op

Two Point Campus: Does it Have Multiplayer Co-Op?

Management sims are known for being single-player games, but that hasn’t stopped fans from hoping there’s Two Point Campus multiplayer, whether it’s co-op or competitive. There’s something there for sure. You could build rivals and compete academically, or maybe work together to try and develop the best school possible. But is any of this possible? We’ll take a look below.

Is Two Point Campus multiplayer?

Unfortunately, Two Point Campus isn’t a multiplayer game. So that means no couch co-op, no academic deathmatches, and no rival sports teams. You’re stuck facing the AI alone here, which isn’t a huge surprise.

Management sims aren’t known for their multiplayer capabilities, and Two Point Campus is no different. We did have some cool ideas above, but thinking about actually implementing them makes our heads hurt. There are just too many moving parts to make a great multiplayer experience out of it.

However, co-op gameplay isn’t unprecedented in the franchise. Around a year after Two Point Hospital was released, Two Point Studios added a multiplayer mode to the game. It was limited, but it did bring a little bit of co-op gameplay into play.

In Two Point’s latest game, you have to build and manage a college campus. This means arranging classrooms, dorms, lecture halls, and more in a way that allows your students to thrive. Of course, this is all done in an irreverent and comical style that pokes fun at the college experience in a zany, colorful way.

This time around, things feel a bit more like The Sims as the students stick around for a lot longer than patients did in Two Point Hospital. You’ll get to know them and what makes them tick, and by the time they graduate, you may have even grown attached to them.

Unfortunately, all that has to be done in single-player. There’s no multiplayer to be found here whatsoever!
