Are Spider-Man Remastered PC Mods Supported?

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be released on PC tomorrow, August 12, meaning the PC modding community is already getting ready to make their own mark on the game, but will mods be supported in the game? Will players be able to make their own Spidey suits, something they couldn’t do in the PS4 or PS5 version of the game? Here’s our guide to explain whether Spider-Man Remastered PC mods are supported.

Is there Spider-Man Remastered PC Mod support?

Spider-Man Remastered PC Mods

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will not have official mod support on PC. Developer Insomniac has not built native mod support into the PC port of the game. However, this won’t stop players from creating their own mods, some of whom have already confirmed they are preparing their own content ahead of the game’s release. Seeing as the game is yet to be released, there are no mods available at the moment.

Many suits have already been added into the game since its release on PS4 in 2018, but there are still some missing from the collection. An Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit mod is high up on the list of requests from players. There’s also the Tom Holland suit from the finale of No Way Home, the symbiote version of the Raimi suit, Superior Spider-Man suit, and the top request on Reddit right now is rather predictably a nude Black Cat. Away from suits, players are also hoping for Bully Maguire voice lines, a playable Black Cat, and even Peter Parker’s original face. There is a lot of scope for players to let their imaginations run wild in the weeks and months following the game’s release.

In other news, Epic Games has confirmed a Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover and it will be arriving in the game next week. Elsewhere, Kirby’s Dream Buffet has gotten a release date and a new look at multiplayer gameplay.
