This week, the series premiere of the new Marvel Cinematic Universe show She-Hulk: Attorney at Law debuted on Disney+, and fans may be wondering what happened at the end of episode 1. It concludes with a character named Titania (Jameela Jamil) bursting into a courtroom and getting overpowered by Jennifer Walters, an attorney who transforms into a 6-foot-7 green superhero and introduces herself. Now that we’ve seen the episode, this is who Jameela Jamil plays in She-Hulk.
Who does Jameela Jamil play in She-Hulk?
Jameela Jamil portrays Titania in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Her character is described as a social media influencer who attempts to solicit fame by battling She-Hulk. She’s a narcissist with superhuman strength, and it appears that the ending of the new episode where she bursts into the courtroom is her attempt at fame. The ending of episode 1 will kick off a rivalry between She-Hulk and Titania as Titania will hold a grudge against She-Hulk after her attempt goes wrong.
While speaking with D23, Jamil described the character as “all narcissism and ego. But then She-Hulk steps in and humiliates her publicly. When you take someone with a fragile ego and piss them off, it starts a grudge that grows and grows. All Titania wants to do is be a thorn in She-Hulk’s side.”
Jamil went even further in an interview with Screen Rant, describing Titania as an annoying character. She jokes, “I think she almost doesn’t need to use her strength; she could just annoy you to death.” She also describes Titania as “curvy” and “unselfconscious” while also being a very weird character.
It is exciting to see where the character of Titania goes in this series. While her character appears to exist as an antagonist, there are many possibilities for the main villain of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, including Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination. It is unknown yet whether Titania will ultimately be a friend or foe of She-Hulk, but with new episodes of this show premiering every week, only time will tell.
