Indiana Jones 5 is set to release on June 30, 2023. This film has had a long preproduction history, with director Steven Spielberg passing on the mantle to James Mangold, who has previously directed films like Logan and Ford v. Ferrari. It will also be the first Indiana Jones film not to feature a story written by George Lucas, with the script being written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth, and John-Henry Butterworth.

Who is in the Indiana Jones 5 cast?

Nobody can play Indy like the man who has played him since 1981. Harrison Ford will don the fedora again, reprising his role as archaeologist Indiana Jones. The film will add many new talented cast members to the mix, including Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas, and Olivier Richters.

Although Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull reintroduced Karen Allen as Marion and gave Indy a son named Mutt (Shia LaBeouf), neither Allen nor LaBeouf have been confirmed to be in the new film.

Have there been any Indiana Jones 5 leaks?

As the movie has finished filming, there have been a few leaked details surrounding possible storylines the new film will follow. Set photos have suggested the movie will take place in 1969 after the successful Apollo 11 moon landing. Other set photos have shown actors dressed as Roman soldiers, suggesting the possibility of time travel being introduced in this film.

Although audiences have a while to wait for the next Indiana Jones adventure, actor Boyd Holbrook spoke about the film in an interview with ComingSoon, calling it, “a fast, badass, enjoyable movie.” With that high praise, this upcoming movie may just belong in a museum.
