The Fast & Furious franchise has been running strong for over two decades, and soon, fans are going to be able to watch Fast 10. The upcoming movie in the action film series is set to ramp things up to a 10, and fans can hardly wait for the action-packed adrenaline this movie will offer. This is the release date, cast, rumors, leaks, and everything we currently know about Fast X.
When is the Fast 10 release date?
Fast X is set to release in theaters on May 19, 2023. This next installment will release less than two years after F9: The Fast Saga. The movie was originally going to be directed by franchise veteran Justin Lin (Tokyo Drift, Fast Five), but he left the project early into filming due to creative differences. He was replaced by director Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Now You See Me).
Who is in the Fast 10 cast?
Fast X is set to have quite a stacked cast. Series regulars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron will all be reprising their franchise roles. Jason Statham will return to the series as Deckard Shaw, but Dwayne Johnson will not be returning in this one. John Cena, Cardi B, and Michael Rooker will be reprising their roles from F9.
The film will also be adding several new faces to the series. Jason Momoa has been cast in the film as a villain, while Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior, and Alan Ritchson have been cast in undisclosed roles. Rita Moreno will be joining the Toretto family, playing the grandmother of Dom, Mia, and Jakob.
Have there been any Fast 10 leaks?
There have been no leaks for Fast X. However, the movie does have some promising information. Tyrese Gibson stated that the tenth film would bring the franchise back to its roots, which suggests a story more focused on street racing. Although the Fast & Furious franchise has gone away from its street racing focus, every movie has featured a race. This series has gotten more over-the-top over the years, but it may be stepping back in the original‘s direction.
Sung Kang’s Instagram post revealed that Han Lue would once again be driving the orange and black Veilside Mazda RX-7 FD Fortune, which he famously drove in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Although the pieces are moving into place for a satisfying finale, this series may have enough gas in the tank to keep running for years to come.
