The first generation AirPods Pro saw a significant discount with the announcement of the new model. The original version is still an excellent product. If you don’t care about the new features that come with the AirPods Pro 2, there’s no sense in paying an extra $70. As stated above, the two are almost identical in form factor, so neither has an advantage when it comes to comfort.
