Pokemon Presents didn’t just include some exciting news for those who enjoy playing the video games, but revealed that a new stop-motion Pokemon Netflix series was on the way, called Pokemon Concierge. The anime, which comes from Dwarf Studios, looks set to introduce a new protagonist, so many are wondering will Ash and Pikachu be in the new Pokemon Netflix series?
Will Pokemon Concierge on Netflix have Ash and Pikachu?
Ash and Pikachu will not be in Pokemon Concierge. The new Pokemon Netflix series will instead delve into an entirely unique area of the Pokemon universe, taking the focus away from battling and “catching them all.” While Ash’s Pikachu companion won’t be in the show, there could be another Pikachu present.
The new series comes just two months after The Pokemon Company announced that Ash and Pikachu’s journey would conclude, paving the way for a different anime with dual protagonists Liko and Roy. That series has not yet started.
In Pokemon Concierge, Audiences will be whisked away to the Pokemon resort, where they’ll meet new protagonist Haru. As a worker at the resort, they are set to come across countless Pokemon guests, welcoming them into the retreat and helping the creatures along the way.
In the first teaser for the stop-motion series, a Psyduck can be seen waddling along the beach. It’s a very short look at what’s to come, but immediately gives an air of relaxation and good vibes. It would be very surprising if this show took a dark, dramatic turn, and instead it simply looks to be one that will entertain the viewer with light and fluffy content.
The Pokemon Day coverage also included a first look at the DLC for recently-released Pokemon titles, Scarlet and Violet. Titled “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero,” a release date window was revealed for the new content.
