Can you play Valheim cross-platform between Xbox and PC?
Valheim will have full crossplay support between Xbox consoles and PC players. Players can purchase the game on their Xbox console, PC Microsoft Store, or Steam and play with others using the other platforms.
Valheim’s Steam release sold over five million copies a month after its release, despite launching in Early Access. However, unlike other Early Access titles, Valheim was remarkably polished. A 1.0 release date has not been announced, so the Xbox and Microsoft Store versions will launch with the same Early Access content as the Steam version. However, according to the developers, the performance optimizations developed for Xbox will also come to PC.
Valheim players have plenty of content to look forward to, regardless of their preferred platform. Iron Gate Studio has confirmed all the new content coming to Valheim in 2023.
