What is the Reddit comments server error?
The Reddit server error and comments issue is a result of the site being down, with many of its functions currently not operating as intended. This includes comments on its app not working for users.
Reddit has been down for a while, as we discussed here, with the site revealing it was rendered offline due to “internal issues” that it was working to resolve. However, at the time of this writing, these issues have been unresolved, with the desktop and app versions of the site still not being accessible.
This includes the server error on the app version of Reddit, with users being told they can ‘tap to retry’ in order to reload comments on each post. However, tapping does nothing and comments still won’t load for users. Hopefully, Reddit will find the solution to this error soon, and users can go back to posting TIFU stories on the platform.
