The Dimension 20: The Ravening War release date is coming sooner than you might think, and it will feature Critical Role‘s Matt Mercer. He will be the DM for this sixteenth season of Dropout’s D20 in a prequel set 20 years before the events of A Crown of Candy from season five. The cast will also feature players that Critters will recognize from other Critical Role campaigns. Here’s when you can expect Episode 1 of The Ravening War to air.

The Dimension 20: The Ravening War release date for Episode 1 is scheduled to air on May 10 at 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET on Dropout.tv. This season premiere will also air for free on YouTube on May 17.
After the premiere, future episodes will release every Wednesday on Dropout.tv through to Episode 6, which will be finale of the short campaign. There are currently no plans to air Episodes 2 to 6 on YouTube.
Fans will also recognize other players and DMs from Critical Role in The Ravening War, including Anjali Bhimani, Aabria Iyengar, Lou Wilson, and Brennan Lee Mulligan. The game will use the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition ruleset and explore the world of Calorum before the creation of the Concord ended the titular war.
