Naraka: Bladepoint originally launched without cross-play or cross-progression. However, things have changed since then, and now that the game has released on PS5, players are confused about how things work with the game in 2023. Unfortunately, cross-play and cross-progression in Naraka are still a bit complicated, and you can read below to see cross-platform functionality works between PC, Xbox, and PS5.
Does Naraka: Bladepoint have cross-play?
Naraka: Bladepoint does have cross-play between PC, PS5, and Xbox players. However, there are some caveats to the process.
- PC: All PC versions have always-on cross-play.
- PS5: Players can choose to play with only other PS5 players or all platforms.
- Xbox: Cross-play between Xbox and Microsoft Store PC players is always turned on. You can choose to expand this to all players.
Another limitation of Naraka’s cross-play is that it only works within your region. So, if you’re in North America, you can only play with other North American players. To play with friends outside your region, you must switch to theirs.

Does Naraka have cross-progression?
Naraka doesn’t have cross-progression. Progress isn’t shared between platforms. Additionally, there’s no shared account between the PC versions on the Microsoft Store, Steam, and Epic Game Store. So, you can’t start an account on one of them and switch to another without starting over.
The exception to the above is that the Xbox and Microsoft Store PC versions do share progress. Nothing special is needed to enable this; it just works. The devs stated that there are no plans to expand this functionality at this time.
So, should you decide to switch platforms, be prepared to start your Naraka journey over. The lack of cross-progression means your levels, unlocks, and achievements are tied to your original platform. Therefore, while cross-play allows for greater flexibility in player interaction, the lack of comprehensive cross-progression in Naraka: Bladepoint remains a sore point for its user base.
