Xbox Game Pass Adds Far Cry 5, FIFA 22 and More In June’s Wave 2

Those expecting a mega Xbox Game Pass drop during June will be disappointed to find Microsoft is adding just five more games to the service during June 2022 Wave 2. Most of these we already knew about, such as FIFA 22 finally being added to EA Play, although there is the surprise Ubisoft addition in the form of Far Cry 5. Several more games also had touch controls added while they’re being played through the cloud.

Between the new Xbox Game Pass titles, four of the games will be heading to console, a different four games will be available on PC, and three will be coming to the Xbox cloud gaming service too. The five games have started arriving today, June 21, in the form of Shadowrun Trilogy on consoles and cloud (so technically three games in one), as well as Total War: Three Kingdoms for PC. Later this week, FIFA 22 will join EA Play on consoles and PC, therefore will become a part of Game Pass on the same day. On the same day, Naraka: Bladepoint will be a day one release on consoles, PC, and the cloud. While technically the first day of the following month, Far Cry 5 completes the list for consoles, PC, and cloud on July 1.

As well as the new additions, 10 more games have received touch controls for when they’re played using Xbox Cloud Gaming on PC or mobile. Those games are:

  • Broken Age
  • Bugsnax
  • Chinatown Detective Agency
  • Kraken Academy!!
  • Life is Strange: True Colors
  • Ninja Gaiden ∑
  • Ninja Gaiden ∑2
  • Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
  • The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk
