Assassin’s Creed Mirage components have a simple name and a simple function. However, it is so vague that it is not easy to determine exactly what they do or how to get them. Here’s how to get components in AC Mirage and what they do.
How to get components in AC Mirage
Players can get components in AC Mirage in a few different ways. Buying them is the least strenuous. All of the standard shopkeepers in the game sell the same collection of gear and items, which includes components. It is five Dirhams per component piece.
The most common way you will likely get cogs in AC Mirage is through the smaller treasure chests. These chests have an icon with a red hand on them over their interaction prompt indicating that you are stealing. Some chests won’t have components in them, but many of them will. There’s also a special type of chest called a merchant chest that require that players spend a Khidmah Token to unlock. These are the green coins that you will find sparingly through the world. These unique chests will have a different button prompt that indication that it’s a different type of chest.
The third way to find components is to finish side missions. A decent portion of the side quests have components as a reward. These types of missions are on the bulletin board in the handful of Hidden Ones hideouts. The contracts on the board will list out what the rewards will be, so you can prioritize based on what you need. They will also dish out more rewards if you can complete the optional task tied to it, and they range from not taking damage to not getting detected.
What are components used for in AC Mirage?
Components are used for upgrading tools like smoke bombs, throwing knives, noisemakers, and more. These are the most rare items of the three.
