The Assassin’s Creed Mirage excavation site is one of the few places in the game that is not specifically handed out to the player. This is part of the mission involving Hamid and the House of Wisdom and is simply titled “Find the Missing Brother.” The listing says the dig site is in the wilderness, but is not more specific. Here is the excavation site location in AC Mirage.
Where is the AC Mirage excavation site location?
The AC Mirage excavation site location is hinted at in the Investigation part of the menu. From there, go to Hamid’s node on the left. Go to the upper right node on Hamid’s node and then click on the little map icon in the bottom left.
That will show you this crudely drawn map of the area. From it, you can see the walls of The Round City in the upper right, another wall just around it, and a few rivers. You can also plainly see that the site is between the bottom two rivers just beneath an oasis.
That may be hard to translate to the game’s map since it takes a few seconds to switch between screens, but you will find it at this spot in the above map. You can tell it is a dig site because the map has a huge hole there. Mark it and then you will get a little pop-up notifying you that you have arrived.
From there, you can either rush in, take your time and stealthily complete your mission, or even hire mercenaries to go do your dirty work or at least cause enough of a distraction. This will take a Power Token, though. Just be sure to talk the person with an orange magnifying glasses above his head to get started on the mission and to find the rest of clues scattered around the site.
