Fans want to know if the MW3 beta has DMZ and Zombies mode given their popularity. Developers Activision, Sledgehammer Games, and Infinity Ward revealed in an official Call of Duty blog that the beta would include five modes, with one highlight being Kill Confirmed that’s specific to the open beta. The first weekend available during the PlayStation early access of the Modern Warfare 3 beta will start with four maps and four game modes. Here’s whether DMZ and Zombies will be included in the MW3 beta for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Does the MW3 Beta have DMZ and Zombies?
While DMZ and Zombies game modes are not available during the first weekend of the MW3 beta, one or both of them could be included in the second weekend.
During the PlayStation Early Access period, the two playlists available include Mosh Pit that has the Domination, Hardpoint, and Team Deathmatch game modes, and Ground War that, well, has the Ground War game mode. Then on October 8, when the beta opens up to all PlayStation players, it will add Kill Confirmed, which is a Team Deathmatch variant where you need to grab Dog Tags dropped from enemies to score points for your team.
From there, it’s unclear what game modes will be added during the second beta weekend, which will feature crossplay between PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms starting October 12. According to the info on the CoD blog on October 5, more maps and game modes have been scheduled throughout the beta. However, considering that a recent tweet by Call of Duty, DMZ probably won’t be featured in the beta. The Zombies mode has a better shot, though, given there’s a trailer for it for the game’s full release.
